here are some more drawings that i did for Sparknotes. The essays and articles that they illustrate can be found in Sparklife, a sort of study break from the main site. Transamerica this drawing ended up with an article about the Academy Awards but it was meant to illustrate a review of Transamerica. the movie tells the story of a transsexual who meets her son a week before her gender-reassignment surgery. |

Meatless No Longer Means Lunchless my knees go weak when i smell meat. but i was raised vegetarian. i ate my first hamburger when i was thirteen. it tasted great but i threw up for three days. i drool over bacon and popcorn shrimp but i am inescapably vegetarian. i WISH my high school offered the vegetarian school lunches described in this article. not that creamy peanut butter and grape jelly sandwiches aren't delicious.

V for Vendetta at the Vista speaking more about this drawing than the film it represents: beautiful movies have always inspired me to draw. exceptionally beautiful movies make me want to draw every frame. in daydreams, i have transformed entire movies into precious, perfect comic books. this illustration was a taste of that. and it was so much fun! for more about the movie, click here.
