i taught in Miami and Tallahassee, Florida; Baltimore, Maryland; and Portland, Oregon. i currently teach in Los Angeles, California.

i studied art education at Florida State University and, in 1997, graduated from the Maryland Institute, College of Art with a Bachelors of Fine Arts, Visual Communication and a Minor in Creative Writing.
