Angie, Poketo

angie myung is the other half of the poketo design duo. after exchanging emails with ted for a month or so, the four of us ~ ted, angie, christine, and i ~ met for dinner at one of their favorite restaurants, Dansungsa. i always feel a little shy when i meet new people, especially if i love what they do. there is a lever in my head labeled "out-going" but i don't always remember to pull it. thankfully, ted and angie were friendly and fun enough to shatter the ice... with surprises, great food recommendations, candid conversation, and ice cream.

angie, ted, christine, and i met up again at the san diego comic convention. after a long day at the convention, we went to a really great mexican joint called pokez. christine asked the waiter what tacos were better, steak or chicken. "tofu," he made his statement, "i don't eat anything with eyes." i'll have the steak, christine responded. as the waiter turned away, angie confessed (just loud enough to be hilarious) "i could never date a vegan."
